Google your business name. Whenever a potential customer types your business name in Googles's search engine, you should have a clear idea of what they are going to find.


It is your responsiblity to know this. Always be aware of any and every bit of information regarding your business. Your reputation depends on it. You may find incorrect information, such as, phone numbers, wensites, addesses, etc. Contact the entry and request an edit of your information.


Some sites may take a few days to update your information, so check back frequently to see the results of your request. Performing a Google check on your business should take place at least once a month.


If you only find a few websites listed or don't find your company name at all. This means you have not developed an SEO (Search Engine Optimization) footprint for your business. having an SEO footprint is very important for growing your business.


Ideally, a potential customer should be able to see your name somewhere in a search engine when they type in the name of your business.
